My life wasn’t always dressed in color, ART manifested emotions that unraveled greatness, Art saved my life .

Our dreams are an indicator of what we’re experiencing in the waking life, they are our divine guidance if we allow. Sadè Labre’a does not resist the gift of intuition and dream interpretation. Her work is a display of divine provision, leading her to create art as a path to healing.

Sadè, is a proud African American- Cherokee Indian woman and Mixed Media Abstract Artist. She graduated with a A.A degree in criminal justice and B.A in liberal arts— marrying her strength of practicality and instinctual perspective. And as full-time mother she approaches her work with incredible harmony. With over 300 freestyle and custom paintings in her 2-year art journey, her multi-faceted lens is a gem for many who resonate with her style. Loyal collectors include names like Tokyo Vanity, Tokyo Jets and Milan Di Rouge, and you can find her work at NYC Juice Bar and the Virgin Islands.

But Sadè’s journey has not always been simple. Her son passed in 2010 and the grief moved her on a quest to heal the emotional pain brought through trauma. In 2020 she created a piece unintentionally with the face of her son—a black, white, and abstract resin on 24x48’ canvas. In a distressing moment where she cried out to God for a sign that she’s on the right track, the buyer of the piece called stating, “Are you aware there’s a babyface in your art? He’s looking at me,” the joyous reassurance Sadè needed to continue.

Sadè continues to listen to these signs, and when her dreams foresee masterpieces, she’s diligent in bringing them to fruition. She finds the most solace with resin and mixed media practices. A Sadè Labre’a original is a whimsical masterpiece diverse in texture, fearless in color and free in nature.

Perhaps what truly makes her work dynamic is the emotion evoked and the nuanced discoveries symbolic of divine messages. As Sadè’s work speaks renewed vision and healing into her life, she intends to share the powerful experience of restoration with hopes of illuminating others.
